Uniflam Fireplace Inserts: An Efficient Alternative to Traditional Fireplaces
It’s important to know that modern Uniflam fireplace inserts are much safer and more efficient than traditional fireplaces. This is due to the fact that classic installations only utilize a small percentage of the heat energy, typically only a few percent, whereas Uniflam products achieve 70-85% efficiency in utilizing the heat energy from the burning fuel. This ensures uniform heating throughout the entire property via air duct systems or through central heating installations. Of course, the latter is possible with the water-jacketed insert, which Uniflam also offers in its product range.
The efficiency of Uniflam fireplace inserts is also due to the materials used in their production. The first type, which consists entirely of cast iron, is characterized by structural durability, quick heating times, and excellent heat storage with long-lasting heat release. The second type, steel and refractory Uniflam inserts, stands out due to excellent heat accumulation and a greater amount of heat recovery, as well as protecting the fireplace from damage caused by high temperatures inside the system. Additionally, the steel casing of the steel-refractory Uniflam inserts allows for more diverse product designs, contributing to the high aesthetic value of the entire installation.
